Santon's core business areas are heavy industry, including, Shipbuilding, Steelworks, Cement Works and Quarries, Railways, panel builders and O.E.M's The Santon range of Isolators/Disconnectors, enclosed and for panel mounting is extensive, from 20A to 2000A AC and for many applications DC up to 1000V. The 'HR' range of heat resistant disconnectors, used in underground car parks and tunnels etc as disconnectors for extract fans is an important market and compliment the standard IP65 ranges of enclosed 'Somerton' and 'EFI' Disconnectors. Disconnector switches used in Solar/Photovoltaic installations with DC voltage up to 1000V are also available'.
